ARS – SELF CLEANING SEDIMENT FILTER

THE SELF-CLEANING FILTER IS DISTINGUISHED BY ITS COUNTER-CURRENT FLUSHING SYSTEM FOR EFFECTIVE SEDIMENT REMOVAL.

This automatic cleaning filter is engineered and constructed with innovative technical solutions concerning the efficiency of cartridge filter cleaning systems, utilizing backwashing to eliminate more substances trapped on the cartridge’s outer surface. The filter offers a nominal filtration rate of 90 microns in the RAH version with stainless steel mesh cartridges and the RLH version with plastic mesh cartridges, or a nominal filtration rate of 50 microns in the RSH version with pleated plastic mesh cartridges.

When the filter element becomes clogged, it can be easily cleaned by opening the valve at the bottom of the bowl. This operation creates a depression in the filter, pushing the cartridge downward and automatically reversing the water flow from inside (counter-current) to the outside of the cartridge. This backwash flow carries particles and substances trapped on the cartridge to the drainage channel. Upon closing the valve, the initial pressure distribution is restored, and the internal spring returns the cartridge to its service position.

The self-cleaning filter is equipped with a drain funnel, a device designed to prevent pollution from backflow, in accordance with the European standard UNI EN 1717 of November 2002. This device prevents backflow by diverting all elements of the drain valve ventilation to the atmosphere

ARS – HPFS

ARS – HPFS KL (KATALOX LIGHT)

Revolutionary Technology utilizing Manganese dioxide (MnO2) based Catalyst media , coated on Zeosorb-Zeolite for removal of Suspended Solids, Particles, Colloids including Iron, Manganese, Arsenic, Hydrogen Sulfide, Heavy metals and Radionuclide from water.

Zeosorb is fine Zeolite that effectively remove particles with 0.5 – 3 microns size that escape from conventional media such as Sand and Anthracite.

ARS-Katalox Light, Not Only has large filtration area but also really Light, with Bulk density of WATER. Unlike Sands and Pyrolucite (CATALOX,FILOX,PYROLOX), they are very heavy @ around 1900 kg/m3, and will require large backwash rate in the order of 61 to 73 m3/h/m2 .

That is 4 folds of what is needed for ARS-Katalox Light. Therefore the use of ARS-Katalox LightL will save significantly the amount of backwash Water used.

ARS-Katalox Light also has highest amount of Manganese dioxide (MnO2) Coating, Catalytic-Oxidation active ingredient, as compared to other MnO2 coated media in the market.

This Oxides of manganese acts as a source of oxygen to oxidize and remove number of contaminants including Iron, Manganese, Arsenic, Hydrogen Sulfide, Uranium and Radium from contaminated waters,“Without using Flocculants or KMnO4”.
For this reason ARS-Katalox Light works while the other systems fail.

What is AOP?

Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) combines the benefits of ozone and UV-C into one device. When ozone is used in combination with UV-C light in water, hydroxyl radicals (OH) are created.
